Description

Ndi is a one-of-a-kind handmade cloth doll from The Lum Collection. She wears a bold dress of horizontal red, black, and yellow mudcloth-style geometric bands, with red bolero-style chest panels, a pink rosette with long pink ribbon tails at her waist, red ruffled cuffs, and a red hem band. Her hair: black yarn twists worn up and loose, a rainbow braided yarn strand across the crown, green and purple bow beads, and many twists wrapped in multicolored yarn — neon green, pink, blue, purple, and white. She wears crochet sandals with black soles, thick cream edging, and an orange panel. Every doll is sewn, stuffed, and finished by hand in Texas — no two are exactly alike, and when Ndi sells, she is gone.
