Mbatu is a one-of-a-kind handmade cloth doll from The Lum Collection — the only doll in the collection wearing pants. She wears a pink, magenta, and green geometric print top with orange lace cuffs, paired with white pants. Her hair: twists worn up and fanned, with a pink heart bead and rainbow beads at the crown and mint-and-lime yarn-wrapped tips. She goes barefoot, as small dolls do. Every doll is sewn, stuffed, and finished by hand in Texas — no two are exactly alike, and when Mbatu sells, she is gone.
